The power supply is included in the $200 price. There are 4 drivers built in which means that it can drive a Z Table and a Rotary directly from the board. The LaserBoard has built in Trinamic stepper drivers which are very quiet, result in smoother motion, and can drive more current than step-sticks. The power brick we provide is actually a high quality 24V4A unit. We started recommending a separate power supply, then started offering one, and finally included it with all the boards. During its lifespan we learned that the K40 Laser Power Supply could not provide enough current to power it and that this was causing lots of dropouts and job interruptions. Originally there was the Cohesion3D Mini board. Then they bundled some no name PSU and increased the price by $50.
